   Compared to last week, steer and heifer prices were mixed but near
steady.  Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher.  Feeder supply consisted
mostly of smaller packages with good quality but numerous bulls were in
the run.  Demand moderate.  Cows and bulls were 19 percent of receipts.
In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 57 percent of the run;
heifers 43 percent.  Near 38 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  few 300-350 lbs 121.00-122.00;
400-500 lbs 104.00-115.00, fleshy 98.50; 500-600 lbs 95.75-103.00,
fleshy 89.50-90.00; 600-700 lbs 84.75-93.00, fleshy 83.00-84.00; 700-
800 lbs 85.00-90.00, calves/fleshy 84.00-84.50; 800-900 lbs 84.00-85.00.
Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 113.00-114.00; 450-500 lbs 106.00-
109.00; 500-600 lbs 92.00-105.00; 600-700 lbs 88.00-92.00; pkg 758 lbs
86.00.  Large 1  pkg 706 lbs 82.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 85.00-101.00; 500-
600 lbs 82.00-88.25; 600-650 lbs 80.00-84.25, calves 74.00-78.00; pkg
708 lbs 81.00, calves 75.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 93.00-
100.00; 450-500 lbs 83.00-88.00, fleshy 77.00; 500-600 lbs 78.50-89.00,
fleshy 75.00; 600-700 lbs 79.75-87.25; 730-770 80.00-81.00.  Large 1

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 97.00-104.50; 500-
