Slaughter cows steady. Calf prices continue to hold up well considering the extremely muddy conditions throughout the area, high grain prices, and the sour fed cattle market. Demand moderate and supply moderate to light. Cows and bulls accounted for 7 percent of the run and feeders 93 percent. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls made up approximately 50 percent of the run; heifers 50 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 67 percent.
