New Cambria - New Cambria Livestock Auction
Feeder Cattle Auction for 02/02/12

   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers steady.  Slaughter
cows steady to 1.00 lower.  Unusually warm weather in North Missouri
with cattle movement continuing uninterrupted, although the weather
forecast calls for several days of early February rain which may create
some mud problems in cattle feeding areas.  Demand good and supply
moderate.  Cows and bulls accounted for 10 percent of the run and
feeders 90 percent.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls made up
approximately 55 percent of the run; heifers 45 percent; steers and
heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 38 percent.

Scheduling note:  New Cambria will hold a special Replacement Cow
sale on Saturday, February 11, with the next feeder sale on Thursday
February 16.
