Feeder Cattle Auction for 02/08/10

   Compared to last week, too few feeder steers and heifers to establish
a trend.  Slaughter cows steady.  Demand moderate and supply light.  Cows
and bulls accounted for 50 percent of the run and feeders 50 percent.  In
the feeder supply, steers and bulls made up approximately 68 percent of
the run; heifers 32 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled
around 40 percent.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1-2 Pkg 581 lbs 101.75; Few 600-700 lbs
94.25-97.50.  Medium 1-2 Few 400-450 lbs 99.50-100.00; Few 500-600 lbs
92.00-97.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium 1-2 Few 600-700 lbs 85.00-89.50.  Small and
Medium 1-2 Pkg 358 lbs 98.00; Few 400-450 lbs 94.00-99.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2 Pkg 694 lbs 79.25.  Small and
Medium 2 Pkg 270 lbs 111.00; Pkg 322 lbs 113.00; Few 450-500 lbs
96.00-99.50; Pkg 521 lbs 98.00.
