   Compared to last week, steers and heifers firm to 2.00 higher.
Demand good.  Supply heavy on a feeder special, several strings of fancy
black hided long-time weaned offerings with shots, mostly 500-800 lbs 
steers and 400-700 lbs heifers, near 64 pct steers, 33 pct heifers, 
3 pct cows and 35 pct feeders over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows mostly steady

   Feeder steers:  Medium and Large 1 few small pkgs 400-450 lbs 124.00-
130.00; few 475-500 lbs 116.50-119.50; 500-600 lbs 107.00-120.50; 600-
700 lbs 96.50-110.50; 700-800 lbs 95.00-102.25; few pkgs 800-900 lbs
87.10-93.10.  Medium and Large 1-2 525-600 lbs 101.50-113.50; 600-675
lbs 98.50-102.50.

   Feeder heifers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 100.50-107.50, thin
