   Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves sold steady with most 
weighing over 600 lbs and headed for the feedlot.  Some weakness was noted on 5 
weight heifers with instances of 2.00-3.00 lower.  The offering was dominated by 
a large consignment (800 head) of top quality short yearlings from the Bunker 
Farm near Grant City, MO.  Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00-4.00 higher with 
high dressing bulls selling over 1.00/lb.  Receipts were made up of 5 percent 
slaughter classes with the balance feeders.  The feeder run included 58 percent 
steers and 42 percent heifers with around 86 percent over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 400-500 lbs 199.00-205.00; 500-600 
lbs 170.00-183.00; 600-700 lbs 161.25-172.00, pkg unweaned 690 lbs 147.00; 700-
800 lbs 153.85-157.75; 800-900 lbs 140.75-147.70; load 905 lbs 140.10.  
Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 495 lbs 190.00; pkg 595 lbs 174.00; 600-700 lbs 
163.50-165.25; 700-800 lbs 144.75-151.50; 800-900 lbs 132.50-144.25.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 174.50-186.00; 500-600 lbs 
153.00-164.25; 600-700 lbs 144.25-157.25; 700-800 lbs 141.25-145.00, lot 
replacements 725 lbs 150.00, pkg fleshy 735 lbs 137.00; load 845 lbs 135.85, pkg 
replacements 815 lbs 141.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 165.00-170.50; 
550-600 lbs 148.00-155.00; 600-700 lbs 139.00-142.00; 750-800 lbs 128.00-134.50.
