   Compared to last weeks lighter test, feeders had a higher undertone.
Average feeder quality was more attractive than last week, with several
offerings of reputation feeders.  Supply consisted mostly of calves with
best demand for lighter steer and bull calves.  Slaughter cows
traded 1.00 to 2.00 lower on a good test of cows.  Cows and bulls were
14 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
57 percent of the run; heifers 43 percent.  Near 36 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 111.00-115.00; 400-
500 lbs 103.00-122.00; 500-600 lbs 95.75-108.00, fleshy 89.00; 600-
700 lbs 87.00-96.75 calves or fleshy 82.50-87.50; 700-800 lbs 87.00-
98.25.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 113.00; 400-500 lbs 111.00-
119.00; 500-600 lbs 90.00-103.00; 600-700 lbs 90.00-99.25, calves or
Brahman X 86.50-88.00; 700-800 lbs 89.50-91.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 97.50-103.00; 400-
500 lbs 86.00-101.00; 500-600 lbs 84.00-87.50, fleshy 79.00-83.00; 600-
700 lbs 84.50-87.00, calves 75.00; 700-750 lbs 80.00-86.75.  Medium and
Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 97.00-102.50; 400-500 lbs 84.00-99.00, fleshy or
Brahman X 80.00-84.00; 500-600 lbs 82.50-89.00, full or Brahman X 81.00-
82.50; 600-700 lbs 83.00-86.25, fleshy 78.75-81.50.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 104.00-115.00; 500-
600 lbs 84.00-98.00; 600-650 lbs 78.00-86.00.
