   Compared to last week, feeders had a higher undertone on a light
seasonal test.  Slaughter cows were lightly tested.  Even with hot
weather on the horizon, demand was good.  Supply was light.  Cows and
bulls were 10 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and
bulls were 50 percent of the run; heifers 50 percent.  Near 60 percent
of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 306 lbs 119.00; pkg 467 lbs
fleshy 108.00; few 500-600 lbs 106.00-109.75, fleshy 103.00; 600-
700 lbs 98.25-107.50; 700-800 lbs 95.50-99.75, calves 96.75.  Medium
and Large 1-2  few 435-445 lbs 115.00-115.50; pkg 533 lbs 106.00; pkg
540 lbs fleshy 100.00.  Large 3 Holsteins  pkg 476 lbs 68.50.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 329 lbs 111.00; few 440-
445 lbs 99.00-102.00; 500-600 lbs 95.50-104.00, fleshy 92.00; 600-
700 lbs 94.00-100.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  few 410-450 lbs 99.00-
105.00; 500-600 lbs 94.00-97.50; 600-700 lbs 92.50-102.50, full 88.00.
Medium and Large 2  pkg 430 lbs 98.50; pkg 551 lbs 93.00.
