SHELL EGGS:  Daily California Eggs                                              
                                                                                

Prices were unchanged for jumbo, increased 5 cents for extra large, were 6      
cents higher for large, and were 2 cents lower for medium and small.  Trade     
sentiment was steady.  The Pacific inventory was down 8% from last Monday,      
with California declining 5% and OR-WA-UT down 12%.  Offerings were             
adequate to instances tight while demand continued good to very good.           
Floor stocks adequate to closely balanced.  Small benchmark price $1.07.        
                                                                                
                                                                                

Shell egg marketer's benchmark price for negotiated egg sales of                
USDA Grade AA and Grade AA in cartons, cents per dozen.  This
