Eastern Cornbelt Direct Sheep Weekly Report
(includes lambs sold in IL.,IN.,OH.,MI.)

Total sheep and lamb sales: 649   Last week: 746   Year ago: 825

Compared to last week, slaughter lambs, ewes, and goats traded steady. Trade 
and demand were light to moderate. Offerings were moderate. This week's 
supply was made up of 61% lambs and 39% slaughter ewes; with an additional 
1106 head of goats.

Wooled Slaughter Lambs: Choice and Prime 2-3: 90-110 lbs 103.00; 110-130 lbs 
105.25. Good and Choice 1-2: 60-90 lbs 110.00.

Feeder lambs: Medium and Large 1-2: not tested.

Slaughter Ewes: Utility and Good 1-3: 25.00-29.00.
Cull and Utility 1-2: 25.00.
                
Slaughter Goats (cwt.):
Kids: Selection 1: 40-60 lbs 125.00.
Selection 2: 40-60 lbs 120.00.
Yearlings: Not tested.
Bucks/Billies: Selection 2: 100-150 lbs 55.00.
Does/Nannies: Selection 2: 70-100 lbs 41.00.
Selection 3: 70-100 lbs 38.00.
