Eastern Cornbelt Direct Feeder Cattle Summary
Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio

Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers were firm to sharply higher. 
Trading activity moderate. Confirmed sales 27% beef steers, 26% holstein steers 
and 47% heifers. Receipts this week: 1100  Last week: 750  Last year: 550

Feeder Steers Medium and Large Frame 1-2: 650-725 lbs 94.00-100.00 del. 
725-850 83.50-87.50 del.

Holstein Steers Large Frame 3: several loads 450 lbs 91.50; 
825-850 lbs 70.00-75.50.

Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large Frame 1-2: several loads 431 lbs 105.00;
575-650 lbs 90.00-93.00 del.; 750-775 lbs 79.50-84.50 del.

Prices are based FOB the farm unless otherwise indicated.
Delivered prices include freight, commissions, and other expenses.

Michigan, and Ohio Direct Feeder Cattle Summary and will be issued under a new 
name. The new reoprt will be called the Eastern Cornbelt Direct Feeder Cattle
