The crush figure confirmed processors crushed 155.3 million bushels of soybeans, which was above trade expectations. The USDA’s weekly export sales report showed higher than expected sale figures for soybean and soybean meal. Soybean sales totaled a net 1.349 million metric tons compared to trade estimates between 700,000 to 1.0 metric tons. Soybean meal sales pegged 367,800 metric tons versus estimates from 100,000 to 225,000 metric tons. Soybean oil sales came in at 12,800 metric tons compared to trade estimates between 5,000 to 20,000 tons.
