Special Replacement Stock Cow and Pair Sale

Compared to two month ago: Bred heifers sold 50.00 to 80.00 higher and cows 
sold 100.00 to 150.00 higher.  Cow/calf pairs were not tested two months ago, 
however, a higher undertone prevailed.  Bred heifers and cows aged, blood 
tested and pregnancy checked prior to sale prices per head.  Several packages 
of fancy Middle and Aged Cow-Calf pairs were offered. The supply was 
comprised of approximately 2 percent bred heifers, 2 percent young bred cows, 
6 percent middle age bred cows, 5 percent aged bred cows, balance cow/calf 
pairs.  The final Special Replacement Stock Cow and Pair sale for the season 
will be held in conjunction with the Calf and Yearling Auction on May 21, 
2009.

   Replacement Stock:  Medium and Large 1 Heifers 1078-1078 lbs 7-8 months 
bred 900.00-975.00; Young 1168-1390 lbs 7-8 months bred 925.00-1000.00; 
Middle Aged package 1508 lb 5-6 months bred 890.00, 1150-1710 lbs 7-8 months 
bred 880.00-950.00; Aged 1335-1695 lbs 7-8 months bred 800.00-870.00.  
   Medium and Large 1-2 Heifers 978-1390 lbs 7-8 months bred 835.00-885.00; 
Young 1035-1155 lbs 7-8 months bred 750.00-890.00; Middle Aged package 960-
1495 lbs 7-8 months bred 825.00-850.00; Aged 1205-1435 lbs 7-8 months bred 
650.00-740.00.  
   Medium and Large 2 Heifers 725-1148 lbs 3-5 months bred 600.00-775.00, 
845-1113 lbs 7-8 months bred 725.00-775.00.  

Cow-Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 Young 1124-1405 lbs with 130-278 lb 
calves 1200.00-1285; Middle Aged 865-1435 lbs with 135-370 lb calves 1075.00-
1175.00, fancy 1310.00; Aged 1055-1500 lbs with 110-390 lb calves 900.00-
1075.00, fancy 1085.00-1130.00.  
   Medium and Large 1-2 Young 845-1597 lbs with 100-205 lbs calves 1000.00-
1125.00; Middle Aged 1148-1401 lbs with 185-408 lb calves 975.00-1030.00; 
Aged 1060-1350 lbs with 110-250 lb calves 825.00-890.00.
   Medium and Large 2 Heifers 865 lb with 165 lb calf 1025.00; Young 940-1245
