Feeder trade over last weekend through Monday, firm to 1.00 higher, mid-week 3.00-5.00 higher after major rally on CME broad. Many cattle in the Flint Hill region of the state are starting to trade and/or are in serious trade negotiations. Weather was hot and dry with a few late evening thunderstorms, overall great wheat harvesting weather. Sales confirmed on 6862 steers, 6734 heifers and no calves for a total of 12,738 head compared with 3188 last week and 3672 last year. Volume includes 100 percent 600 lbs and over with 09 percent contracts. Feeder supply 49 percent steers and 51 percent heifers.
