Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/04/2010
   
Receipts: 1106      Last Week: 3831     Year Ago: 3262
 
Compared with last week:  Receipts curtailed due to the winter weather 
conditions this week.  Steers and heifers 300-550 lbs no test. Steers 550-
650 lbs steady to weak, 650-750 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, 750-900 lbs 2.00 
higher. Heifers 550-650 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, 650-850 lbs steady. 
Steers and heifers 900 lbs and over no test.  Slaughter cows steady to 4.00 
higher.  Slaughter Bulls steady to 2.00 higher in a light test.  Trade and 
demand good. 
Receipts 80 percent 600 lbs and over, 10 percent 600 lbs and under, and 10 
percent slaughter cows and bulls.  Feeder supply consisted of 56 percent 
steers 
and 44 percent heifers.
