Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction Pratt KS Close for 07/02/09

   Compared to last weeks limited receipts due to wheat harvest, not enough  
steers and heifers of any weight class for an accurate market test, However, an 
extremely higher undertone noted, limited sales steers 750-950 lbs and heifers 
700-950 lbs 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Trade active 
and demand good. Receipts 75 percent 600 lbs and over; 13 percent 600 lbs and 
under 12 percent slaughter cows and bulls. Feeder supply 66% steers and 34% 
heifers.
