Demand moderate to spots strong for dairy, stock cow, grinding alfalfa, grass hay and alfalfa pellets. The hay markets have leveled off, even some cases of softer bids for hay, especially lower quality roughages. Rain over most of the State and snow over Northwest Kansas brought welcome moisture. Southwest Kansas received the least and has the greatest need. Light snow and rain is falling this morning over scattered parts of the State.
