DC_LS795 Dodge City, KS Mon May 19, 2008 USDA-KS Dept of Ag Market News (Feeder Cattle weighted Average Report for May 12 through May 16, 2008) Kansas Weighted Average Report for the three feeder cattle auctions (Dodge City, Pratt and Salina) totaled 13,243 head including 12,319 head of feeder cattle and calves. Weighted average based on 10,688 head or about 88 percent of the total feeders. Approximately 92 percent of the feeders 600 lbs and over. Feeder supply 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers.
