SC Farm Report on Thursday
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Feeder cattle 2.00 to 6.00 higher.  
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 178.00-198.00; 500-600 lbs 
156.00-170.00. Feeder bulls: 400-500 lbs 165.00-185.00; 500-600 lbs 145.00-
165.00. Feeder heifers: 400-500 lbs 150.00-175.00; 500-600 lbs 145.00-160.00. 
Slaughter cows and bulls steady to 2.00 higher.  Breakers 75-80% 75.00-85.00; 
Boners 80-85% 74.00-84.00; Lean 85-90% 64.00-73.00.  Cow/Calf Pairs: Small and 
Large 1-2 775-1100 lbs young to middle age cows with 160-235 lbs calves 700.00-
1100.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Wednesday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 64.15, down up 0.54. Sows live price 300-
450 lbs 55.49; 450-500 lbs 58.98; 500-550 lbs 61.05.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn was mostly 5 cents lower, processor bids 6.57-
7.07. Soybeans were 4 to 5 cents lower, processor bid 12.43, export bid 12.32. 
Wheat was steady to 5 cents lower, processors bids 6.37-7.00.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 was 84.63, down 3.74.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State Farmers 
Market on Thursday. Beets dz bnchs Red type 18.00; Cabbage 50 lb ctns Green 
Type 10.00; Greens dz bchs Collards /Turnips 10.00-15.00, ctns bnchd Kale 24s
