SUMMARY OF 3 LOUISIANA CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN COUSHATTA (1494), DELHI 
(1281) AND CARENCRO (728) ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2009
   
Cattle Receipts:  3503    Last Week:  5761    Last Year:  4448  
	
   Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold steady to .50 higher.  
Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-1.50 higher.  Feeder steers sold mostly steady to 
4.00 higher.  Feeder heifers sold mostly steady to 5.00 higher.  The supply 
included 16 percent slaughter cows and 5 percent pairs/replacements.  The 
feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
