Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Typical warm May temperatures look as though they are here to stay with little to no rain in the forecast. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady to 3.00 lower. The feeder supply included 67 percent steers and bulls, 33 percent heifers. Near 64 percent of the offerings weighed over 600 lbs.
