This Week: 6,832 Week Ago: 7,405 Year Ago: 6,196 Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher in active trading under good buyer demand. Very needed rainfall fell in parts of Texas and helped winter wheat and winter grasses which will benefit grazing. Feedlots remain current as many fed cattle are being sold out front in order to get the current fed cattle prices. Yearling type cattle under good demand to replace feedlot numbers. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls not well established. Demand good for all classes. The feeder supply included 50 percent steers and 50 percent heifers. Near 54 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
