Navasota Livestock Auction - Navasota, TX - Saturday - 02/06/10 

Cattle and Calves: 825        Week Ago: 821        Year Ago: 1,321  

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 4.00 lower.  Feeder heifers 
2.00-4.00 higher.  Slaughter cows 5.00-7.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls 7.00-10.00 
higher.  Trade and demand moderate on mixed quality of feeders.  Bulk supply 
Medium and Large 1-2 300-500 lb feeder steers and heifers.  Slaughter cows made 
up 11 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls less than 4 percent, replacement 
cows 4 percent, and feeders 81 percent.  The feeder supply included 49 percent 
steers and 51 percent heifers.  Near 8 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 200-300 lbs 121.00-131.00, few 132.00-142.00, 
fancy 145.00; 300-400 lbs 113.00-123.00, few 124.00-127.00; 400-500 lbs 98.00-
108.00, few 109.00-112.00; 500-600 lbs 88.00-98.00, few 99.00-101.00; 600-700 
lbs 85.00-95.00; 700-750 lbs 88.00-89.00.
   Medium and Large 2: 200-300 lbs 95.00-105.00, few 106.00-116.00, fancy 
117.00-125.00; 300-350 lbs 105.00-115.00, few 116.00-127.00, 350-400 lbs 95.00-
