Navasota Livestock Auction - Navasota, TX - Saturday - 11/21/09 

Cattle and Calves: 1,511      Week Ago: 2,829       Year Ago: 2,390  

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 3.00-7.00 higher, instances 
10.00 higher.  Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls steady.  Trade 
active and demand good on mixed quality of feeders.  Bulk supply Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-600 lb feeder steers and heifers.  Slaughter cows made up 13 
percent of the offering, slaughter bulls less than 1 percent, replacement cows 3 
percent, and feeders 83 percent.  The feeder supply included 55 percent steers 
and 45 percent heifers.  Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 200-300 lbs 119.00-129.00, few 131.00; 300-400 
lbs 112.50-117.00; 400-450 lbs 107.00-117.00, 450-500 lbs 93.00-103.00, few
