Four County Auction Center - Industry, TX - Tuesday - 07/07/09 

Cattle and Calves: 1,459     Week Ago: 1,469       Year Ago: 858 

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 1.00-3.00 higher.  Slaughter 
cows and bulls steady.  Demand fairly active on all classes.  Bulk supply Medium 
and Large 1-2 200-700 lb feeder steers and heifers.  Slaughter cows made up 30 
percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 7 percent, replacement cows 10 percent,
and feeders 53 percent.  The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 
percent heifers.  Near 21 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. 
   
   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 200-300 lbs 125.00-129.00; 300-400 lbs 117.00-
122.00; 400-500 lbs 103.00-111.00; 500-600 lbs 92.00-99.00; 600-700 lb calves 
90.00-97.00.
   Medium and Large 2: 200-300 lbs 117.00-123.00; 300-400 lbs 109.00-115.00; 
400-500 lbs 94.00-101.00; 500-600 lbs 86.00-91.00; 600-700 lb calves 84.00-
89.00.
   Medium and Large 3: 400-500 lbs 85.00-93.00; 500-600 lbs 81.00-85.00.

   Heifers: Medium and Large 1: 300-400 lbs 97.00-105.00; 400-500 lbs 93.00-
98.00; 500-600 lbs 90.00-96.00; 600-700 lb calves 86.00-90.00.
   Medium and Large 2: 300-400 lbs 90.00-95.00; 400-500 lbs 87.00-92.00; 500-600 
lbs 84.00-88.00; 600-700 lb calves 77.00-84.00; few 700-800 lbs 81.00-88.00.
   Medium and Large 3: 300-400 lbs 83.00-88.00; 400-500 lbs 82.00-85.00; 500-600 
lbs 80.00-83.00.
