Lampasas Cattle Auction - Lampasas, TX - Wednesday - 11/18/09
 
Cattle and Calves: 939       Week Ago: 1,044        Year Ago: 1,124 

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to firm, instances 
2.00-3.00 higher on better quality offerings.  Slaughter cows and bulls steady. 
Demand good on lighter weight feeders.  Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 
lb feeder steers and heifers.  Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the 
offering, slaughter bulls 1 percent, and feeders 88 percent.  The feeder supply 
included 53 percent steers and 47 percent heifers.  Near 26 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.   

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 300-400 lbs 111.00-118.00, individual 125.00; 
400-500 lbs 102.00-111.00, few 116.00-117.00; 500-600 lbs 96.00-103.00, few 
108.00-111.00; 600-700 lbs 84.50-94.00, few 96.00-97.00; 700-800 lbs 78.00-
80.00.
   Medium and Large 2: 300-400 lbs 100.00-108.00; 400-500 lbs 94.00-104.00; 500-
600 lbs 90.00-95.00; 600-700 lbs 80.00-83.50; 700-800 lbs 74.00-81.00.
   Medium and Large 3: 400-500 lbs 85.00-88.00; 500-600 lbs 81.50-86.50
