Cattle and Calves: 2,174     Week Ago: 2,930         Year Ago: 3,101 

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-3.00 higher.  Feeder heifers under 
500 lbs steady to 4.00 lower, over 500 lbs 1.00-2.00 higher.  Slaughter cows and 
bulls 1.00-2.00 lower.  Replacement cows and cow/calf pairs 50.00 higher.  Trade 
and demand good.  Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-600 lb feeder steers and 
heifers.  Slaughter cows made up 5 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 5 
percent, replacement cows 5 percent, and feeders 85 percent.  The feeder supply 
included 66 percent steers and 34 percent heifers.  Near 40 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
