Cattle and Calves: 1,548      Week Ago: 1,712        Year Ago: 2,724

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00 higher.  Feeder heifers 400-
500 lbs 3.00 higher, all others 1.00-3.00 lower.  Slaughter cows 1.00-
2.00 higher on light test.  Demand good.  Trade active.  Bulk supply 
Medium and Large 1-2 500-900 lb feeder steers and heifers.  Feeder cattle 
accounted for 98 percent and slaughter cows and bulls 2 percent of the 
run.  In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 68 percent of the 
run; heifers 32 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled 95 
percent. 

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 500-600 lbs 88.50-92.00; 700-800 lbs 
77.00-81.25; pkg 850 lbs 72.50. 
   Medium and Large 1-2: pkg 488 lbs 95.50; 500-600 lbs 83.00-87.00; pkg 
681 lbs 80.50; 700-800 lbs 71.25-73.00; lot 876 lbs 69.50.
   Medium and Large 2-3: 350-400 lbs 83.00-87.00; 700-750 lbs 60.00-64.00; 
few 843 lbs 59.50. 

   Heifers: Medium and Large 1: 400-450 lbs 98.00; pkg 630 lbs 77.00;
pkg 903 lbs 66.50.
   Medium and Large 1-2: 400-450 lbs 81.00-90.50; 600-700 lbs 74.50-75.35; 
725-760 lbs 67.50-71.50; 800-825 lbs 67.00-67.25.
