Cattle and Calves: 2,836      Week Ago: 3,493          Year Ago: 2,781

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs steady, all others mostly 
weak to 2.00 lower with some 400-600 lbs 4.00 lower.  Feeder heifers steady to 
weak.  Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls not well tested.  Trade 
active.  Demand moderate.  Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 350-850 lb feeder 
steers and heifers.  Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of the offering, 
slaughter bulls 1 percent, and feeders 79 percent.  The feeder supply included 
53 percent steers and 47 percent heifers.  Near 34 percent of the run weighed 
over 600 lbs.

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: 300-400 lbs 120.00-129.00, three pkgs 316- 390 
lbs 115.00-135.00; 400-500 lbs 105.50-113.00, pkg 499 lbs 101.00; 500-600 lbs 
103.00-108.00, pkg 598 lbs 94.50; 600-700 lbs pre-conditioned 92.50-97.75; 700-
800 lbs 93.00-93.50, calves 87.00-91.00, pre-conditioned 90.50-92.50; load 861 
lbs 90.10.
   Medium and Large 1-2: two lots 205-230 lbs pre-conditioned 146.00-152.00; 
300-400 lbs 110.00-116.00; 400-500 lbs 102.00-105.00; 500-600 lbs 95.50-102.00,
