   Receipts EST: 12,000 Week ago Act: 14,447 Year ago Act: 9,735

   Compared to last week, steer calves and  yearlings 1.00-4.00 higher.  
Trade active, demand good.  Rain continues this week all over the south-
west region.  Bulk of supply consisted of steers weighing 300-600 lbs.


   Feeder steers:  Medium and large 1&2, 300-400 lbs 106.00-120.00; 400-500 
lbs 96.00-110.00; 500-600 lbs 88.00-100.00; Medium and large 2&3, 300-400
lbs 96.00-110.00; 400-500 lbs 86.00-100.00; 500-600 lbs 78.00-90.00.
