AJ_PY006 Atlanta, GA Tue. Feb 09, 2010 USDA Market News SHELL EGGS: Daily Northeast Regional Eggs Prices were unchanged. Trade sentiment was barely steady to weak. Demand was light to moderate with increased movement in areas affected by snow storms with predictions for more snow by tomorrow. The Northeast shell egg inventory was 10% higher than last week, and the New England shell egg inventory was 2% more than last Monday. Supplies were adequate to available for trade needs. Breaking stock offerings in the Eastern region were sufficient; schedules were normal to slighlty lighter. Light hen offerings were moderate to instances heavy for the fair to fairly good demand.
