Weekly Sheep Summary 

   Slaughter lambs sold 1.00-2.00 lower.  Steady undertone noted
on slaughter ewes.  Feeder lambs steady to weak on a light test.
Sheep supplies near 55 percent slaughter lambs, about 27 percent
feeder lambs and the balance mostly slaughter ewes.  Receipts 
this week 992 including 58 goats compared with 1062 including 
29 goats last week and 786 including 51 goats a year ago.  The 
estimated Federally Inspected sheep and lamb slaughter the first
three days this week 26,000 compared with 24,000 last week and 
20,000 a year ago.

   Shorn Slaughter Lambs:  Choice and Prime 2-3 139 lbs 115.50.
Choice 2-3 few 109-113 lbs 100.00-108.00.

   Wooled Slaughter Lambs:  Choice and Prime 2-3 120-151 lbs
114.00-115.50.  Choice 2-3 116-131 lbs 109.25-111.50.   
    
   Slaughter Ewes:  Good 2-3 23.25-28.00, Utility 1-2 11.00-
16.75, Cull 1 7.00-11.50.

   Feeder Lambs:  Medium and Large 1-2 82-99 lbs 100.25-107.50.
Medium and Large 2 53-54 lbs 106.00-107.00, 62-68 lbs 99.25-
100.00.

   Slaughter Goats:  Kids Selection 1-2 42 lbs 88.00.  Nannies/
Does Selection 1-2 107 lbs 33.00.
