South Central Direct Sheep Report for Week Ending Fri October 10, 2008

All Sales FOB with 2-4 percent shrink.

Feeder Lambs:  Compared to the last week feeder lambs 2.00-5.00 lower.
Trading and demand moderate.  The financial crisis has affected all
parts of agriculture and buyers and sellers taking a wait and see
attitude.

   TX:   400: Medium and Large 1-2 70-80 lbs 92.00-95.00.

Slaughter Lambs:
   TX:  None.

Slaughter Ewes:
   TX:  None.

Replacement Ewes:
   TX:  None.
