   Compared to last week, alfalfa hay and grass hay prices steady.
Trade and demand moderate.  Most areas finishing second cutting.
All prices FOB the stack per ton for current delivery unles otherwise 
stated.

Sales for small to large bales.

Western Area: Alfalfa:

Alfalfa: Good to Premium quality 3x4x8 bales 130.00-140.00;  Fair quality
3x4x8 bales 90.000-100.00.

Orchard grass: Good to premium quality small square retail 145.00-150.00;
Fair quality small aquares 100.00.

NorthWestern Area: 

Alfalfa: Premium quality large squares 140.00-150.00; Good quality 125.00-
130.00; Fair quality 100.00-115.00.

Central Area:

Alfalfa: Premiujm to supreme quality 4x4x8 bales 145.00-150.00; Good quality
large squares 120.00.

Orchard/Alfalfa mix: Premium quality 155.00; Good to Premium quality small 
squares 120.00-130.00.

Timothy: Premium quality small squares 230.00-250.00.

Quantitative factors are approximate and many factors can affect feeding
value.
