***This report is based on information provided by companies that agreed to 
continue to participate in Livestock Mandatory Reporting on a voluntary 
basis.***

   Boxed beef cutout values were firm on very light demand and offerings. Select
and Choice chuck and round cuts were generally steady while rib and loin cuts 
were steady to firm. Beef trimmings were firm on moderate demand and offerings.

   Estimated composite cutout value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses up 0.41 
at 171.58; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses up 0.54 at 165.13; based on 67.07 
loads of Choice cuts, 57.02 loads of Select cuts, 36.31 loads of Trimmings, and 
72.45 loads of coarse ground trimmings.

    Estimated carcass price equivalent value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses

   The Cutter cow carcass gross cutout value was estimated at 140.46 up 0.84.

BY-PRODUCT DROP VALUE  NW_LS441

   Hide and offal from a typical slaughter steer was estimated at 11.88 up
0.03 when compared to Wednesday's value.

NATIONAL CARLOT PORK  NW_LS500

   Sales reported on 22.5 loads of pork cuts and 3.0 loads of trim/process 
pork.

   Compared to Wednesday's Close:  Fresh 1/4" trim loin 1.00 higher; boston
butts steady to 2.00 lower; sknd hams 23-27 lbs 1.00 higher; sdls bellies not
tested; lean trim firm. Trading slow, with light demand and offerings.

   *Calculations for a 200 lb Pork Carcass 53-54 percent lean 0.65" -0.80" back 
fat at last rib.* **79.39 up 0.65**  Loins bone in fresh 1/4 inch trim 21# DN-
LGT 117.00; Hams bone in trimmed, 23-27 lbs trim spec 1 74.00.
