MG_LS795 Montgomery, AL Fri Jun 27, 2008 USDA-AL Dept of Ag Market News Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending June 28, 2008. Total estimated receipts 14,600, compared to 12,764 last week, and last year 23,493. Compared to last week: Feeder classes sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher through the week only to show weakness at weeks end as buyers filled orders. Supply this week consisted of 76 per cent feeder cattle with 14 per cent steers; 40 per cent bulls; and 46 per cent heifers. Feeder supply had 13 per cent over 600 lbs.
