Alabama Weekly Livestock Summary

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending May 17, 2008.  Total 
estimated receipts 14,000, compared to 11,453 last week, and 17,676 last 
year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher; bulls
firm to 2.00 higher;  feeder classes under 550 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, 
over 550 lbs 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Replacement cows firm to 50.00 per head 
higher.
