At most sales this week, slaughter heifers and Holsteins were lightly tested or sold weaker. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to firm on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 lower for the duration. Choice steers marketed at the Sioux Falls, SD this week were mostly steady, with instances 1.00 lower. The boxed beef market was lower this Thursday with the Choice cutout .01 higher at 160.99, Select was .39 lower at 153.94.
