Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review for Thursday

This report is based on information provided by companies that agreed to
continue to participate in Livestock Mandatory Reporting on a voluntary
basis.

Trading was moderate in the Northern Plains and Western Corn Belt with good demand. 
Compared to Wednesday, dressed sales in Nebraska and Iowa/MN sold steady from 159.00 
to 160.00 and live sales sold steady to 1.00 higher from 100.00-102.00. Compared to 
last week live sales in Colorado sold 3.00 to 3.50 higher from 101.00-102.50 and 
dressed sales sold at 161.00. Few, live sales in the South Plains sold 2.50 to 3.00 
higher from 101.00-102.00.
