Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 7/2/08

This report is based on information provided by companies that agreed to
continue to participate in Livestock Mandatory Reporting on a voluntary
basis.

Trading was active in Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota with good to very good demand. 
Compared to last week dressed sales in Nebraska sold mostly 5.00 higher at 160.00 and 
live sales sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher from 100.00-101.00. Dressed sales in Iowa/MN sold 
4.00 to 5.00 higher from 159.00-160.00 and live sales sold 3.00 higher at 100.00. 
Trading was slow in Colorado where a few dressed sales sold at 160.00. Trading was 
mostly inactive in the South Plains.
