With farmers busy in the fields and the nearby holiday, receipts were light and average feeder quality was not as attractive as usual. Demand for better quality was still good. Slaughter cows 1.00 higher. Cows and bulls were 20 percent of receipts. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 65 percent of the run; heifers 35 percent.
