Roswell Livestock Auction Summary - Roswell, NM - Monday - 6/30/08

Receipts: 499              Last Week: 1674          Last Year: No Sale

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady on limited receipts. 
Quality not as attractive as last week. Slaughter cows and bulls 3.00-4.00 higher than 
last week on a very attractive offering. Trade active and demand good, especially on cows 
and bulls. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-600 lb feeder steers and heifers. 
Slaughter cows 28 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 6 percent, bred cows 1 percent, 
pairs 1 percent, feeders 64 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 61 
percent; heifers 39 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled 7 percent.

   Steers: Medium and Large 1: Few 300-400 lbs 120.00-126.50; few 450-500 lbs 115.00-
124.00; few 500-550 lbs 116.00-120.00; few 550-585 lbs 108.00-108.50.
