Clovis Livestock Auction Summary - Clovis, NM - Wednesday - 7/16/08

  Compared to last week: Feeders steers steady to 2.00 higher. Heifers steady. Slaughter 
cows and bulls steady. Trade active demand good.  Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 
lb feeder steers and heifers. Slaughter cows 18 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 
percent, bred cows 4 percent, pairs 1 percent; feeders 75 percent. In the feeder supply, 
steers made up approximately 52 percent of the run; heifers 48 percent; steers and heifers 
over 600 lbs total 17 percent.
