Week Ending Apr 25 RECEIPTS THIS WEEK: 27,230 LAST WEEK: 19,166 TRENDS COMPARED TO LAST WEEK: Early weaned pigs and 40-50 pound feeder pigs steady. Demand moderate for light offerings. Receipts include 14,629 head shipped to Iowa and Central US. Receipts also include 65% formulated prices. ***THIS IS THE LAST ISSUE OF THIS REPORT. The information will now be included in the revised Iowa and Central US Delivered Report (NW_LS255). The new combined report will be called the "National Direct Feeder Pig Report" and be listed under the same number (NW_LS255). The new report will have FOB Seller and Delivered Buyer prices on all pigs, as well as the number of pigs delivered to each state. The new report will begin next Friday May 2.
