(AL-FL-GA-MS-LA-SC) At selected markets in the southeast states this past week receipts of feeder cattle and calves were estimated at 55,200 head, compared to 60,300 head last week and 62,348 a year ago. Lower temperatures after midweek curtailed receipts which led to thinly tested markets. Markets open higher early but by midweek prices started to decline.
