Cattle Receipts:  1400    Last Week:  1654    Last Year:  1406

   Compared to last week, bulk of the slaughter cows sold steady, with higher 
yielding Boning cows trading up to 3.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls sold 2.00-
3.00 higher.  Feeder steers sold steady, with lighter calves trending 1.00-
3.00 higher.  Feeder heifers sold 1.00-3.00 higher.  The supply included 20 
percent slaughter cows and 8 percent pairs/replacements.  The feeder supply 
included 57 percent steers and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 
percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.

600 lbs 95.00-105.00; 600-650 lbs 93.00-101.00.  Medium and Large 3  200-250 
lbs 104.00-114.00; 300-350 lbs 96.00-106.00.  Small and Medium 1-2  200-250

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Small and Medium 1-2  5-7 year old cows, 800-980 lbs 
with 175-200 lb calves, 670.00-860.00 per pair.

   Replacements:  Medium and Large 1-2  1-4 year old cows, 900-1095 lbs, 7-8 
months bred, 980.00-1150.00 per head; 1-4 year old cows, 865-1050 lbs, 3-5 
months bred, 775.00-975.00 per head; 5-7 year old cows, 1080-1315 lbs, 4-6 
months bred, 710.00-875.00 per head; 1-2 year old cows, 820-910 lbs, open, 
84.00-94.00 per cwt.
