Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for Thursday - 08/21/08

Cattle offered: 3,300

 Trade and demand moderate.  Cattle offered from Alabama, Florida and 
Mississippi.  Supply included 54 percent of feeder cattle under 600 lbs.  Supply 
56 percent steers and 44 percent heifers.  Prices based on weights FOB with 1-3 
percent pencil shrink or equivalent, and slides of 4-10 cents on calves and 4-8 
cents on yearlings.  Delivery period Current thru November.
