           Mexico to TX. & NM. Weekly Cattle Import Summary

   Receipts EST: 5,500 Week ago Act: 2,991 Year ago Act: 26,996


   Compared to last week, Trade inactive, demand light.  Supply consisted
of previously contracted steers and spayed heifers weighing 300-700 lbs.  Feeder
cattle imports continue to be light for this time of year, however numbers did
increase after months of light receipts.  Its expected for feeder cattle crossings
to pickup soon.
