AMS was petitioned by honey industry members to clarify obligations for honey packers regarding country of origin labeling.

The rule was published in the Federal Register July 6, 2018, and is effective immediately. The rule is also available for viewing at www.regulations.gov. For more information, contact Brian E. Griffin, USDA/AMS Specialty Crops Inspection Division, at (202) 748-2155 or Brian.Griffin@ams.usda.gov.
