As a consumer I want livestock raised in conditions that promote the animal's
health, protect the environment and in conditions that will produce meat
products that contain the healthiest nutrients. That means meat or liquid
products from animals fattened only in pastures; receiving 99% of their energy
from grass and forage should be able to use the grass fed label. I support the
99% grass fed labeling policy.

My parents grew up in the south, raised what we now call "organic" cattle and
crops. There are distinct health benefits from food produced in this way as
opposed to the supposedly "modern" methods.
