Dear Chief O'Connor,

I am writing to express my support for the proposed USDA grass-fed meat label
and to urge you to clarify the proposed rule to prevent meat from grain-fed
animals from being erroneously labeled as grass-fed.

One of the main concerns of customers seeking grass fed meat is the avoidance of
genetically modified grains used as feed. To have any relevance the regulations
must be specific about grains so that consumers will be assured grass fed means
exactly that.
