What is NOP-AQSS? – Answers to Questions on [NOP] Standards by NOP Staff

Two factors that may delay a response to your question:

1. If a recommendation is needed from the NOSB or NOP believes that collaboration with the NOSB is needed on this issue, a response will be posted stating this. A final answer will be tabled until further input is received from the NOSB and the NOP acts; or,

2. If your question involves ongoing rulemaking, or a change to the current regulations, a response will be posted in the NOP reading room stating this. Your answer will be based on current regulations, acknowledging that when rulemaking is completed our answer may change.

When NOP modifies a response or issues new guidance concerning the NOP regulations, an alert will be posted in Today’s News.
