The GV Division provides services for the Quality Systems Verification Programs (QSVP). The QSVP are voluntary, user-fee, audit-based programs that are available to suppliers of agricultural products and services. The QSVP are designed to provide suppliers the opportunity to assure customers of their ability to provide consistent quality products or services. The supplier's documented quality management system is verified through independent third-party audits conducted by the GV Division. The general policies and procedures of the QSVP are outlined in 1000 Procedure.

The GV Division utilizes the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 19011:2002 guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing to provide a format for evaluating program documentation to ensure consistent auditing practices and promote international recognition of audit results.
