Processing operations may request that AMS personnel audit their facilities or their customers’ facilities, to help ensure efficiency and sanitation.






Available Services

A facility assessment of processing plants for compliance with government or private buyer sanitation requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Required audit program for facilities supplying products to USDA food assistance outlets.

Optional audit program for vendors supplying products to USDA food assistance outlets.

A program developed to assist buyers/suppliers in monitoring the quality of products they receive.

A Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) based audit program – presently utilized by the fresh-cut produce industry but could be tailored to any commodity.

A traditional audit program that assesses a processor’s quality assurance system and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
