Regulations for AMS Livestock, Poultry and Seed Programs
Regulations developed by AMS Livestock, Poultry and Seed Program govern the voluntary grading programs for poultry, rabbits, and shell eggs, as well as the mandatory shell egg surveillance program. Grading and certification help facilitate the marketing of poultry, rabbits, and shell eggs among buyers and sellers. Shell egg surveillance ensures that eggs sold to consumers contain no more restricted eggs than are permitted in the standards and ensures that restricted eggs are disposed of properly.

Copies of current regulations are available as noted below.
